The Lafayette Citizens Band has played a lot of venues over its history – Market Square, Tapawingo Park, Jeff High School, Riehle Plaza, and once upon a time, Columbian Park. For our 2024 season we are excited to continue to perform at the recently renovated Memorial Island Amphitheater at Columbian Park. The new location provides excellent acoustics, a sound system, a restroom facility, interesting architecture, and a beautiful setting. Best of all, the renovations include built in seating. We cannot wait to perform for you on Memorial Day to kick off our season!
Concerts are not rescheduled if cancelled due to rain and will not be cancelled unless there is inclement weather at the venue at the time of the concert. As our director emeritus, Bill Kisinger, says “It never rains on a good band!”
